Regular Papers present completed and original research contributions.
All Regular Papers are subject to peer review. Authors may choose the presentation format (oral or poster) and may also select whether the paper will be indexed in IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, and EI Compendex.
Accepted papers that opt for indexing will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

  • Organized Session (1-6 pages)

Organized Session (OS) Papers are submitted to sessions organized around a specific theme or topic by session organizers.
Authors invited by the organizers may submit their work as an OS Paper.
Authors may choose the presentation format (oral or poster). Only OS Papers with a length of 3 pages or more are eligible for indexing in IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, and EI Compendex. Authors may select whether or not to apply for indexing at the time of submission.

  • Late Result Paper (1-2 pages)

These papers will be presented in poster format only.
Late Result Papers will not be indexed in IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, or EI Compendex.

  • Dissemination Paper (1-6 pages)

Dissemination Papers provide an opportunity for authors to present research results that have been recently accepted by journals to a broader audience at the conference.
Authors may choose the presentation format (oral or poster).
Dissemination Papers will not be indexed, and they will not be included in the conference proceedings.
Only the title and abstract will appear in the conference program.

Note:
If a Dissemination Paper is to be presented within an Organized Session, authors must select “Dissemination Paper” as the paper type and enter the corresponding OS code during submission.

OPTION: ICCAS with IJCAS Option

The International Conference on Control, Automation, and Systems (ICCAS) aims to bring together researchers and engineers in the fields of control, automation, robotics, and systems engineering. The scope of the conference is well aligned with the scope of the International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems (IJCAS).

The purpose of the ICCAS with IJCAS option is to provide a possibility to publish a paper in the Journal, but present it at ICCAS. The authors can submit an extended abstract (1 or 2 pages) to ICCAS, and simultaneously submit a journal version (at least 6 pages) to IJCAS. Note that the submission deadline for such joint contributions is May 31, 2026.

Authors of conference papers submitted at ICCAS 2026 (https://2026.iccas.org) are encouraged to submit extended versions (at least 6 pages) to the Special Issue of ICCAS 2026 of the International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems (IJCAS). The manuscript submitted to the special issue should be an extended version from the conference version.

Submitted manuscripts to the special issue should neither have been published nor be under review elsewhere. They will undergo peer-review following the IJCAS author guidelines. Accepted papers are tentatively scheduled for publication in the 2026 issue of IJCAS.

What is the ICCAS with IJCAS option?

A manuscript submitted to ICCAS with IJCAS option may be accepted both by ICCAS and IJCAS, by one of them, or by neither. If the paper is accepted only by IJCAS it will appear on Web of Science as a journal paper. If it is accepted only by ICCAS, it will be considered as a normal ICCAS paper.

How to submit the papers to ICCAS and IJCAS?

The authors should submit an extended abstract (1 or 2 pages) to ICCAS, and simultaneously submit a journal version (at least 6 pages) to IJCAS.

1) At ICCAS (https://2026.iccas.org), please check the “Yes” option as:

I like to submit the extended version of this paper to IJCAS.  Yes  No
(If IJCAS accepts your extended paper, the conference paper will not be indexed in IEEE Xplore. You should also present the paper at ICCAS 2026.)

2) At IJCAS (https://ijcas.org), the authors should select the “Special Issue: ICCAS 2026” category.

3) After completing the submission to ICCAS and IJCAS, please inform us of your ICCAS paper number to IJCAS Secretariat at journal@ijcas.com.

*The corresponding author needs to review at least 2 papers in IJCAS.

How to submit the final papers to ICCAS?

When submitting a paper under the ICCAS + IJCAS option, you must upload the ICCAS final paper (for short papers, a 2~3 page extended abstract) by the ICCAS deadline (August 31, 2026). If your IJCAS manuscript is ultimately accepted, the finalized ICCAS paper will appear only in the ICCAS proceedings and will not be posted on IEEE Xplore, regardless of whether you initially selected that option. If the IJCAS manuscript is rejected, however, the finalized ICAS paper will be published in the ICCAS proceedings, and inclusion in IEEE Xplore will then depend on whether you chose to have your ICCAS paper posted there.
